STRING OPTIMIZATION

As utility- and industrial-scale solar plant developers know full well, the applied power output of any solar cell can vary slightly. TE works directly with developers to avoid this becoming a limitation by packaging modules for delivery on site in pre-grouped strings within very tight output tolerances.  This ensures that each string reaches its highest potential, raising the power capacity of the entire array.

 

FUTURE FORWARD

TE is actively transitioning to a localized heterojunction (HJT) manufacturing process. With the first inline, vertically-integrated HTJ module manufacturing facility in the U.S., we will be able to bring higher efficiency, symmetrical bifacial PV modules to the U.S. market at a lower price point and with higher quality, reliability and durability. By vertically integrating our production (controlling every phase from ingot to module) we can ensure fewer supply-chain disruptions, supporting U.S. solar developers to better meet the growing demand for a clean and independent energy future.
